GetAICodingAgent is an independent guide to AI coding agents. We are not affiliated with any vendor and do not accept payment for placement.
How we verify
- Pricing is checked against each vendor's official pricing page and stamped with a “last verified” date. If we could not confirm a price, we say “check official site” instead of guessing.
- Benchmarks are only published when an independent leaderboard lists the tool (not just the model), with the harness, model and date.
- Status changes — renames, acquisitions, shutdowns — are flagged on the tool page with a link to the source.
- Strengths and weaknesses are editorial summaries based on official documentation and public reporting.
Open data
All tool data lives in one public file, /tools.json, which powers the directory, compare tool and recommender. A plain-text summary for AI assistants is at /llms.txt.
Corrections
Spotted something out of date? Pricing in this space changes monthly. Every tool page links to the official source so you can confirm before you buy.
