Continue's hosted Hub closed on July 15, 2026, but the open-source extension still works locally. It reads rules from .continue/rules/*.md (frontmatter name, globs, regex, description, alwaysApply) and MCP servers from mcpServers in config or files in .continue/mcpServers/, including JSON copied from Claude Desktop, Cursor or Cline. AGENTS.md support is not documented on the rules page.
